Food Service Worker
Under the general supervision of the Food Service Director and under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef. Responsible for set-up and execution of cafeteria food services. Prepares food items for sale in the café that are both wholesome and appealing. Responsible for general cleaning duties as outlined by their position-specific job routine. Works closely with management to maintain both hospital and departmental standards. Demonstrates support of the Medical Center’s mission, values and vision in all actions and interactions with employees, patients, medical staff, guests and visitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Utah Food Handlers permit or ServSafe Certification required.
- Ability to push food carts and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be a team player and willing to cross train other duties in the department.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
